Pottery courses & Workshops

Workshops and courses

As well as teaching at studios around London, I now welcome students to my own cosy studio in Leyton Industrial Village, E10, where I create my work. I offer wheel throwing tasters, private tutoring, and 4- and 6-week throwing courses for small groups (3–5 people), with each session tailored to suit your level and preferences.

Whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience, I’ll guide you step-by-step through the process and help you refine your throwing and turning techniques on the potter's wheel. My approach is hands-on and precise, focusing on technical skills, intricate forms, and attention to detail.

You’ll learn the full process of Wheel-throwing, from start to finish, and develop a deeper understanding of how to create balanced, beautiful pieces.

No previous experience is necessary - beginners are always welcome! Come, relax, and discover a new skill in a supportive, creative environment.

Occasionally, I also run full “Wheel Days”, a full day dedicated to throwing, offering a chance to immerse yourself in the craft and develop your technique in a dynamic, fun setting.

To stay updated on upcoming sessions, follow me on Instagram or sign up for my mailing list.

By request:

Private Throwing Workshops (1 - 5 people)

Looking for a more personal experience? I offer private wheel throwing workshops for individuals or small groups of up to 5 people. Sessions are tailored to your pace and interests.

Team Building Events / Larger Group Workshops (up to 25 people)

I'm happy to host your team at my studio or come to your office to run the workshop - whichever works best for you. Whether you're interested in hand-building or throwing sessions, all materials and equipment will be provided, so you can simply show up and enjoy the experience.

For both options, please email to book and to receive more information and prices.

    All classes take place at:

    STUDIO H - Unit 44H, Leyton Industrial Village, E10 7QP, London

The studio is just an 8-10 minute walk from Lee Bridge Station, or you can take bus numbers 55 or 56 and get off at the nearby stop (Perth road). The W19 bus stops nearer to the studio, which you can take from Walthamstow.
